An Intro To The Builder

Bricks is a pure frontend drag & drop website builder for WordPress. It enables you to visually build and design your entire site in real-time, on one screen.

The Interface

The builder is composed of three areas: TOOLBAR, PANEL and CANVAS.

The toolbar at the top of the page contains all kind of controls that allow you to perform various actions without ever having to leave the page you are on. We’ll have a close look at all available controls in the video below.

The panel displays are relevant information for the action you currently performing. For example. When you edit an element it shows you all the controls of the specific element. When accessing the Settings from the toolbar, all available settings are displayed in the Panel and so on.

And most important: The Canvas. The heart of the builder that lets you create any page layout you want, and move your sections, rows, columns and element around freely. Copy & paste styles, save Global Elements, and much more.
