Welcome to Bricks! This getting started series walks through the core workflow, from your first install to building pages, templates, and responsive layouts with real WordPress content.

What is Bricks?

Bricks is a visual site builder for WordPress that gives you complete design freedom without compromising on code quality.

Unlike traditional page builders that generate bloated code, Bricks outputs clean HTML and CSS. You design visually, Bricks writes efficient code. No wrapper divs, no inline styles, no mystery markup.

What makes Bricks different:

In this getting started series, we’ll build a simple site together: a homepage with a latest posts section, a header template, and a blog post template.

Along the way, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create responsive layouts
  • Connect designs to WordPress content with dynamic data
  • Display repeating content with query loops

These fundamentals prepare you for more advanced features you can explore as your projects demand them.
